With the issues of no electricity comes a lot of challenges including storage of perishable goods. I believe there is a business opportunity in cold storage business. However how does one surmount the problem of electricity. I know solar energy is an option but is this powerful enough to power the industrial size cold storage fridges?
I have also posted this in the groups.

Not only in Nigeria, across Africa in general, this is a very profitable business. It also guarantees regular income. Of course you will need a strong capital to start. If you were to build yours from scratch, you need the following at least:
- The storage system – there are companies selling these already built storage systems. Check on the internet. Or you can build your from scratch. I have seen people building this with metal shipping containers.
- Colling system – you probably need an expert here to choose the best cooling system
- Solar power – I have seen some installations with a roof made up of solar panels throughout. Some people also have standby generators to support. That is apart from being connected to the local power supply system.
All the above apart, you could by already made cold storage systems. Search the internet.
